What happens when Rubber Bands, Tea Bags and Paper Fasteners meet in a cellular fashion...?

Growth...

Cell growth...
And it's relevance to the growth of my linking structures.

I made my links...
I drew my links...
I photocopied my link drawings multiple times...
Then I cut them up to create a collage of links, linking in a way that resembled cell formation...
See results below...

When creating my collage I wanted to centre the idea on the dividing nucleus.
Although I wanted the central nucleus to be the source of the whole link line...like hair growth that grows from the scalp but doesn't grow in width...just length.

With my cell link chain you can see the different mutations of chain type that have occurred along the length on the cell structure.
